Saturday found me, the husband, and my parents (visiting for the weekend) in Rockport, Mass. It was a blissful afternoon of wandering one of the North Shore’s loveliest seaport towns and these are my favorite shots from the day. I really need to make a point of getting out and about with my camera more often.

The first photo speaks to me. My dad’s big into fishing, and used to sail out of Gloucester, just south of there.
I am totally in love with that first photo right now. It is my desktop background and it is even more striking when you see the high-res version on a big screen… the colors are so rich and saturated.
