We’re back from a wonderful weekend in the Crescent City by the river. It’s amazing how tacking on one extra day to your weekend trip can make it feel like it stretched on for almost a week. We came home in the wee hours to a dark house and a confused cat and it seemed like we had been away for quite awhile. But as much as I enjoy comfy, crisp hotel sheets, nothing beats slipping under your own covers after a long journey.
I’ll have pictures and stories later but for now I’m facing a 10-hour workday on – eeps! – four hours of sleep. So I’m hoping you’ll excuse my lack of a real post.
