About
I’m (anything but) your average 20-something, living outside of Boston.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Maryland, I am: a camp girl, an overachiever, a total left brain, an optimist. I am not: afraid of looking silly, going to lie to you, good with left and right.
I love to chat about: books, outdoor markets, new music, good food, stationery, places I’ve traveled, places you’ve traveled, and finding a bargain.
I can’t really help you with: dinosaurs, space exploration, wine pairings, existentialism, sports, sushi, or the periodic table.
I have a degree in public relations and a minor in English. If I ever go back to school it would be for cooking or art, but I don’t plan on doing that anytime soon.
I have an orange cat named Milo and more books than I have shelf space for. I live with my best friend in the whole world, who also happens to be my husband, Andreas.
I’ve been a waterskiing instructor and a Capitol Hill intern. One of my grandfathers was a painter. The other worked for Nabisco.
I’m blunt and sarcastic and have an aversion to anything superficial. I believe in peace. I also believe in love.
So far I’ve learned three things: everyone is human; you help yourself the most when you help others; and knowing who you are will bring you more calm than anything else.
